AIDOaRT is an ECSEL JU project coordinated by MAELARDALENS HOEGSKOLA that brings together a consortium of 32 partners. The project aims at using AIOps to automate decision and process and complete system development tasks. AI technological innovation has to ensure that systems are designed responsibly; to increase our trust in their behaviour it requires both accountabilities (i.e. being able to explain and justify decisions) and explainability (i.e., internal mechanics can be trusted and easily understood by humans). The overall AIDOaRt infrastructure is intended to work within the DevOps practises combining software development and information technology operations.
In AIDOaRT, Abinsula provides a use case in safety critical systems in the automotive domain using disruption technology. Abinsula use case aims to enhance the human interaction and driving experience, proposing an electronic rear-view mirror that gets data from a set of cameras and provides the rear image on a screen. Image processing and sensor fusion, more in general the AI application to sensor data processing, increase the informative content of the rear environment image providing alerts or suggestions for a safer and effective drive.
