R&D PROJECT: HEALTH
INtelligent Systems for Integrated health Management
Project Code: F/050395/01/X32
Main Objective: Intelligent systems for integrated health data management
Axis I – Innovation, Action 1.1.3: Support for the economic exploitation of innovation through experimentation and the adoption of innovative solutions in processes, products, and organizational formulas.
The project is aimed at creating an integrated network of embedded devices, communicating independently, according to the IoT paradigm, to be used for monitoring and traceability of medical processes in hospitals or healthcare in general. The use of IoT-type technologies in this area poses very stringent requirements for the infrastructure. First of all, the data is exchanged and stored in a secure manner. It is also necessary that the entire platform supports flexibility of use that allows one
The project is therefore fully compliant with the industrial framework. It will deal with aspects of the data collection, it will deal with the collection of data automatically from wearable devices or from laboratory instruments.
The reference market is covered in many of its guidelines:
Final objective of the project:
The final objective of the project will be the creation of the platform set, aimed at the efficient, safe and flexible interconnection of IoT nodes. To give the SET these characteristics, as mentioned, it is necessary to develop some modules that cooperate with each other during operation. The development of each module implies an advancement of the state of the art in relation to fundamental technical-scientific aspects in the development of interconnected embedded systems.
